Die Tooling

In-House Tool & Die

Our tool room — staffed with full-time licensed tool makers — gives Infinity Extrusions a distinct advantage above its competitors. Equipped with updated software, Wire EDM, CNC, and manual machines, no job is too big or too small.
On-site consultation, design, material selection, machining, and building gives us fast turnaround time on new tooling. Because everything happens under our roof, you get tighter precision, shorter lead times, and complete accountability — from the first drawing to the finished tool.

Our knowledgeable staff monitors and carries out hourly inspections throughout every production run — using engineering drawings, precision measuring tools, go/no-go gauges, and impact testers to verify that every profile meets the exact specification it was produced against. Colour and surface finish quality is carefully monitored at every stage to match mating parts and customer requirements. A dedicated QA inspector reviews and signs off on every batch before it leaves our facility — ensuring our standards are upheld and your expectations are met, every single time.
Our state-of-the-art machinery, controlled manufacturing process, and top-quality North American raw materials allow us to offer a warranty on every product we produce. Tensile strength, discolouration, and weather ability are all factors we rigorously evaluate — because what we manufacture today needs to perform reliably for years to come. When you partner with Infinity Extrusions, you’re buying the confidence that comes from 45+ years of expertise and a quality process that never cuts corners.

What Our Tool Room Offers You

Licensed Tool Makers On Staff

Our tool room is staffed full-time with licensed, experienced tool makers — not contractors, not outsourced shops. Real expertise, in-house, every day.

Wire EDM Machining

Our Wire EDM equipment delivers high-precision cuts on complex tool geometries — perfect for tight-tolerance extrusion dies that need to perform consistently across long production runs.

CNC & Manual Machining

Our CNC and manual machines handle everything from new die development to modifications and fine-tuning on existing tooling — with speed, accuracy, and flexibility.

Fabrication Machines

Our fabrication equipment allows us to cut, shape, and finish tooling components to exact specifications — giving us end-to-end control over every part of the tool building process without relying on outside suppliers.

On-Site Design & Consultation

Our engineering team works with you from day one — on-site consultation, profile design, material selection, and tooling development all happen under one roof, keeping timelines tight and communication clear.

Fast Tooling Turnaround

Because we control every step in-house, we bring new profiles to market faster than anyone who outsources their tool room. Your time to production is our competitive advantage.

Exclusive Tooling Rights For Our Customers

Your Profile. Your Tool. Your Advantage.

We understand that custom tooling is a real investment — and we want to make it as accessible and rewarding as possible. That’s why we offer two flexible options for our customers:

  • Exclusive tool ownership rights based on your production volume
  • Minimal upcharge option with a rebate program to offset tooling costs
  • All tooling stored, maintained, and serviced at our facility
  • Fast modifications and adjustments when your spec changes
  • No third-party involvement — your tooling stays with us, under our control

Whether you’re developing a brand new custom profile or adapting an existing design, our team will work with you to find the most cost-effective tooling arrangement for your business.

From Concept To Production — All Under One Roof

No Hand-Offs. No Delays. No Surprises.

Step 1 — Consultation
We start with an on-site consultation to fully understand your profile requirements, application, and performance expectations.
Step 2 — Design & Engineering
Our team develops the profile design using CAD/CAM software, reviewing dimensions, material selection, and tooling requirements before a single machine runs.
Step 3 — Tool Building
Our licensed tool makers machine the extrusion die in-house — using Wire EDM, CNC, and manual equipment to achieve the precision your profile demands.
Step 4 — Trial & Refinement
We run trials on the new tooling, measure the output against your engineering drawing, and make any adjustments needed before full production begins.
Step 5 — Full Production
Once approved, your profile goes into full production on our extrusion lines — with the same QA process applied to every run.
